Initiatives
In an effort to ensure continuity and deliver lasting value, the Lisbon Council has launched a number of ongoing initiatives in areas that are key for Europe’s future success. These initiatives go beyond a one-off event, and are designed to identify and build a community around a well defined theme, produce pertinent content and provide the appropriate follow-up and communication.
As with our publications, we strive to be ahead of the curve, highlighting issues before they become common wisdom. Examples of early thought leadership exerted through our policy initiatives include our work on social renewal, the importance of consumers in modern economies, the role of innovation in sustainable development and the need to focus policy making more on education, human capital and skills.
